Christmas in Staunton - Dec. 5th-7th, 2025

This year's Holiday Walk is taking place on Friday, December 5th from 4pm-8pm. This long held Staunton holiday tradition will feature refreshments, crafts and specials from participating local businesses, the lighting of the Main Street Christmas Tree, and the presentation of the Community's Citizen of The Year. Among participating businesses, which will be open extended hours, will be Passport Spots for your chance to win Chamber Dollars! Rock around the Christmas Tree with live music. Stroll through a lit up Duda Park, enjoy a nice hot cup of Cocoa, view the live Nativity and take in the Yuletide joy of the season! Free professional family photos by the Duda Park Gazebo will be available Friday night plus a Chance to Win $100 Chamber Dollars, drawn at 8pm.

Oh what fun it is to ride! Get Your UTVs Ready for Staunton's 2nd Annual Side-By-Side parade! Line up begins at Staunton Fireman's Park at 7:15pm and the parade begins at 7:45pm. Best Decorated Side-By-Side to be presented!

The Staunton Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce a special addition to this year's Staunton Seasonal Spectacular - a chance to win a beautiful 76"x92" quilt plus carry bag, lovingly hand crafted and donated by Kathryn Boseman.

Kathryn generously donated her time and talent to create this one-of-a-kind quilt in support of our community celebration. The Boseman family recently moved to Staunton and have already become active participants in local events and community life, exemplifying the welcoming and giving spirit that makes Staunton such a great place to live.

Raffle tickets will be on sale at the participating local chamber members: Russell Furniture, Max B. Mullins & Mayfields Landscaping, Sullivan Drug of Staunton, Bill's IGA, Vintage Station & Cisler & Associates Real Estate - with proceeds helping to make the Staunton Seasonal Spectacular a memorable event for all. Look for the flyer at participating locations to get your tickets for your chance to win! Tickets are $2 each or $5 for 3 tickets.

This year's Holiday Hustle will take place at 9:00 am on December 6th right before Snack With Santa. The marathon will take place on Staunton Main Street and participants will be able to run or walk at their own pace. Be sure to come out, make like a Reindeer and stretch your legs at this yearly seasonal stroll through downtown Staunton!

A long held Staunton tradition, Santa with Santa, along with Mrs. Claus, will be at the Oltmann Center from 10am-2pm. Come visit and enjoy Christmas Cookies with jolly St. Nick! Face painting will be available and passport stops with local businesses offering free items. Giant inflatables will be fun for the kids. We will have free professional photos with Santa! All free of charge... Experience the Horse Drawn Carriage or Story Hour starting every hour at the Staunton Public Library, Face Painting and more! Passport Winners to be Announced on Wednesday, December 10th, 2024.

The Community Christmas Concert at 3pm will be performed at the St. Paul United Church of Christ, located at 225 S. Laurel Street in Staunton. The Staunton High School Concert begins at 7pm at Staunton School.
